Breezed right through AL and MS and found refuge in an Hampton Inn in Monroe, LA. We could not believe how low the mighty Mississippi was. On the LA side it was practically a beach. We saw acres and acres of cotton fields in full bloom. Quite a sight!
Tomorrow we continue our journey to Austin TX where daughter Hillary will harbor us a couple of nights and take possession of the barber chair.
