Update part 2

Hillary again. I just got off the phone with mom. After doing DAYS of tests there are still no conclusive answers but it looks like my dad is stable and they will be releasing him tomorrow (Sunday). They did get to talk to a lot of doctors and nurses and seem to have a decent support network at Duke now. That will be a big comfort as they both have lots of questions since the surgery.
They had a tough week but received some good news today and are very much looking forward to returning to Athens soon.

Great news that you are doing better and you and Carol can return home tomorrow. Having a network of docs and nurses you can contact is great also. I am happy the powers-that-be have decided you are needed more in Athens than at Duke. Safe travel home.

Thanks, Hilary, for the update. We've been haunting the blog site and are so glad to know Peter will be dismissed from the hospital tomorrow. Also, it's good news that Peter and Carol have a network of contacts at Duke. If you are reading this, Peter, please know that Bob and I have been thinking of you constantly and look forward to your return to Athens.
